Nail Care After a Manicure
Nail Care After a Manicure

1. Avoid prolonged soaking in water for 24 hours after your manicure. Normal activities like washing your face and hands are fine. In winter, avoid using overly hot water for bathing, as it may soften your nails, especially if your natural nails are already soft. If this happens, avoid picking at your nails; the nail polish gel will regain its hardness once the temperature cools down.

2. Try not to pick at hard objects. Avoid tasks like opening packages, peeling hard fruits, or pulling on pull tabs with your nails.

3. Avoid prolonged contact with acidic or alkaline substances, such as lemon juice, laundry detergent, or dish soap. Wear gloves while doing household chores to protect your nails.

4. Remember that nails grow and manicures have a "shelf life." The typical cycle is 25-30 days. It's advisable to remove or replace your manicure within this period to avoid issues like nail damage from overgrown nails.
